TBT’s benefits administration system, called TRUSTpartner, is used by self-administered Taft-Hartley/multi-employer trust funds and third party administrators. TBT’s software products are offered as SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) (aka “hosted”) or licensed solutions. Hosted solutions run out of TBT’s secure, co-location facility; the administrator only supplies the user desktop device, printers, and a connection to the internet. If you prefer, you may also purchase a license so that TRUSTpartner can run in-house as an intranet solution. TBT also offers a hybrid option, in which a license is purchased but the applications are hosted by TBT.
The Employer Portal, originally named “WebERF”, is used by employers to submit their reporting forms and if desired, to schedule contributions payments via the Automated Clearing House (ACH). It can also be separately licensed as a “standalone” product and interfaced with your existing benefits administration system or alternatively, can be hosted by TBT.
The Participant Portal enables employees to self-register, and then view benefits and work history information on their PC, tablet, and/or smartphones. The “real time” portal shows member/family demographic information, healthcare elections, eligibility status, work history, pension summary data (e.g., vesting status, credits, and normal benefit amount) and retiree benefit payments history.
